Position Description:We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Floor Installation Crew Lead to spearhead our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining the work environment, resolving issues that arise within your crew, communicating with project managers, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead installation projects for a wide range of flooring materials including but not limited to vinyl, tile, carpet tile, and hardwood.
Oversee the preparation of project sites, including relocation of furniture, removal of previous flooring, and preparation of subfloors.
Ensure precise measurement and cutting of flooring materials, adhering strictly to specifications and industry standards.
Supervise the installation process, guaranteeing compliance with both manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
Apply sealants and finishes to ensure durability and safety of installations.
Manage the installation of additional fixtures such as baseboards and trim to complete the look.
Coordinate post-installation cleanup efforts.
Communicate with project managers and crew members.
Lead, manage, and travel with the crew to various job sites, including interstate travel for commercial projects.
Promote teamwork and collaboration to meet and exceed project goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in floor installation with leadership roles highly regarded.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Skills in specific flooring techniques such as tile laying and hardwood installation preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of various flooring materials and their specific installation processes.
Proficient with both hand and power tools commonly used in the trade.
Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address installation challenges effectively.
Physical capability to handle material handling and equipment operation as necessary.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Full-time position with a flexible schedule based on project needs, including potential second shift or overnight assignments.
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $25.00, higher pay available depending on experience.
Expected work hours are 40 – 50 per week, with overtime opportunities available.
